Work With Us
CEC collaborates with clients around the world, focusing on a variety of issues to bridge the gap between science, understanding, and action for our coastal areas. We work seamlessly with our clients, harnessing our strong network of partners to increase their capacity and sphere of influence. CEC consults federal and state agencies, academia, non-profit organizations, museums and aquaria, private industry groups, and communities.
There are a variety of ways that your organization can work with us:
Small, Women-owned and Minority-owned (SWaM) business:
CEC is a Virginia-certified SWaM business. SWaM is a state program that helps enhance opportunities for small businesses to participate in state-funded projects with government agencies.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE):
CEC is certified as a DBE in the Commonwealth of Virginia. DBE is a federal program administered by the Department of Transportation. This program enables small businesses to compete for federally-funded projects by allowing them to contact directly with agencies.
National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) Technical Assistance Provider:
CEC provides technical services to local governments, non-profit organizations, and conservation districts. As a NFWF Technical Assistance Provider, CEC is able to apply for NFWF funding on behalf of these organizations for projects that restore habitat and water quality in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
