Seafari Header

CEC created the Seafari as a quick guide to the Turks & Caicos ecosystem for Ocean Club Resorts. The Resorts are on the shores of the world-renowned Grace Bay on the island of Providenciales. The island is home to a wide variety of plants and animals, from agave and bougainvillea to hermit crabs, hummingbirds, and Grace Bay’s resident dolphin JoJo. The Seafari allows visitors to learn more about the island’s ecosystem, and steps the resort is taking to preserve it for future visitors.

Our Seafari guides have been used at Ocean Club Resorts since April 2012. The newest version launched in December 2015. Children complete the Seafari by identifying a variety of plants and animals, and win an explorer’s prize from the resort. More importantly, they come away from vacation with a greater appreciation for the country and new environment they visited. This benefits Ocean Club Resorts by offering younger visitors a self-guided activity that increases their understanding of their island home.

The Seafari program has generated a large amount of positive PR for the resort, including a national feature in USA Today and Today’s Parent.
